FEED WATER CONTROL SPRON/OFF CONTROL FOR PUMP OR VALVES

MODE OF OPERATION

SETEC on/off level control, consists of one amplifier unit module type SPR and 2 electrodes. The Electrodes determined the level by conductivity measuring. The water level is controlled by starting and stopping the feed water pump or by opening and shutting a feed water valve. The level control systems can be used in steam boilers, deaerators and expansion systems.

FUNCTION

The pump starts when the water level falls below the pump start electrode and stops, when the level reaches the pump stop electrode. An in-built delay approx. 5 seconds, prevents unnecessary activation duo to splash or level fluctuation.

ELECTRODE

The electrode type SEP and SME 32 is used in steam boilers and deaerators. The electrodes is mounted into a column with flange connection. (Flange connection DN50 – DN100 PN16 – PN100). The length of the electrodes is determined by the actual operation range. The electrode SME 25 is used in feed water tanks and expansions systems. The electrode is mounted on a socket at the level which will activate the function (Connection 1″BSP)

MODULE

The module is provided with a plug-in connection and consists of  a power supply, test button, indication lamps (LED) and amplifier unit with delay function. The module can be supplied for either wall or panel mounting, and has in-built compensation for variation in the power supply, water conductivity and ambient temperature.

The SPR feed water control systems is approval by Nemko and Det Norske Veritas.
